I’m not dead and I haven’t forgotten about you — I promise. I am in Iowa this week training some newbies on data products. Kind of pooped from the day spent in 3 airports and the early mornings. I’ll write more later. Hope everyone is happy and healthy! :)
Self Explanatory.
Wow, I was surfing Art Dorks when I saw some new prints by Gregory Euclide. I am ass over kettle in love with What Happens Here. So, I need to earn about one bazillion dollars…now. :)
I could fill up my house with lamps from Moody Buddha. They offer modular lamps with shades featuring artwork by some of the most amazing and creative folks out there. Everyone should own one….or three. I especially love this’un. *sigh* So many lamps, so little room.
If there’s anything (aside from my family) I love more than music, it has to be art. Especially mixed media artwork for some reason. Erik Sandberg is a pro at mixed media.
I was a die hard Textpattern user/fan/designer for over a year before I defected to the dark (WP) side. Jaredigital was always a source of inspiration for me. Jared managed to build a multi-faceted site as beautiful in it’s design as it is ecclectic in content.
If you are design enthusiast or font lover, then Kitty Mead’s “Once Upon a Font” will definitely tickle your fancy. In addition to having some great tips, Kitty provides a plethora of links to commercial and free font sites.
If you’ve been around the site today, you may have noticed some switching between a couple different styles. As Kitty said over here, I seem to have an issue with redesigning my site….a lot (and this is something Brian mentions often, too).
So why am I tweaking again?
Well, for a few reasons. Let me [...]
When you have a second, check out Christian Montoya dot com — love the design. It mixes clean lines with iconic figures from vintage video games.
Wow. That’s all I can say after downloading and installing the latest version of the Flock web browser.
For those unfamiliar, Flock is a browser built on Mozilla’s foundation but, unlike Firefox, Camino and Mozilla, it’s one pimped out mofo and it’s faster than it’s counterparts.
In addition to being friggin’ brilliant and beautifully designed, Flock [...]
For everyone who thinks that life is getting easier for gay and lesbian individuals in America:

My mom is in the process of moving for a new job so she’s cleaning out the house. I ran over this weekend and picked up some of my old stuff now that I actually have storage space for it.
In the junk, I found some great old photos. Here is my favorite:

Back in the day, I was a Tomb Raider freak. When I was just a young chap, I used to go stay with my sis and her hubby. He had a Playstation (that’s right, a PS1). Oh, how I envied him. The two of us would stay up all night playing [...]
I’ve been looking for a new media player for my PC so I did a quick search and ended up stumbling across Songbird (via Jon Hicks).
So what does Songbird do? Songbird can do everything you’d expect a media player to do. Play music from your computer, as well as from the Web in [...]

I care enough to tell you. We don’t like your children. It’s not you, it’s not us — it’s them.
I am finally at an age where many of my friends have begun getting hitched and starting families. While I know this is a life-long goal for many of them, it’s really [...]
As a long time reader of the 9Rules network, I was glad to see that they’ve finally announced the results of their 4th round of admissions. They are a smart group o’ folks. I think it was time to get new energy into the mix and round 4 should surely accomplish this.

Knowing how Apple value’s a cutting edge advertising campaign, I decided to pitch in and help them market their new Macbooks. The idea is simple and sweet; it’s actually the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the new beast.
Macbook: Tool of the devil.
I think that pretty much sums it up. [...]
